Health Care Administration Training Program

Health Care Administration (HCA) is an exciting career which provides a way to advance your career in the medical field. Health Care Administrators work to make sure patients are able to receive the care they need. It is the administrator’s job to provide leadership and assisting in managing health care organizations. Health care administrators help oversee health care settings, often working directly with health information systems to ensure the quality of patient medical records. This program is offered at our Glendale and Mesa Campuses only.

Arizona College’s Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Health Care Administration program is designed to provide the education and training required to reach your goal of becoming a Health Care Administrator within their field.

Our Health Care Administration training program consists of a comprehensive curriculum and includes:

The Health Care Administration Degree completion program is 3 quarters. The courses in medical office management and administration prepare you for the trials and tribulations of your future professional role. The Health Care Administration degree program includes occupational courses related to the specific areas of office administration as well as General Education courses like Psychology, Sociology and a variety of communication courses. The role of health care administrator requires a mix of business administration skills, knowledge of medical services, and understanding of the regulations that govern the health care industry.
