The city of Mesa is fast becoming a hub for higher education as a number of new schools, including Arizona College (formerly Arizona College of Allied Health), will be opening their doors in the coming year.

Mesa’s city center is transitioning into a popular gathering place for students and academics. The new Mesa campus location at 163 North Dobson Road is just a short walk from the light rail stop at Dobson and Main Street, allowing allied healthcare students to study, live, and play in this growing and thriving area of the East Valley.

Arizona College’s new Mesa campus will include many of the amenities that current Arizona College students enjoy now, including:

  • Both lecture and lab rooms.
  • Equipment for hands-on training (dental chairs, dental X-ray equipment, a mock pharmacy retail setting, exam tables, venipuncture equipment, etc.).
  • A student resource room.
  • A student break room with snacks and vending machines.
  • A Career Services Department.
  • A Financial Aid Department.

The new Mesa campus is conveniently located near a wide range of dining options – there’s even a Starbucks also just a short walk from campus on W 1st Street and Dobson for those who need a morning cup of joe or an afternoon pick-me-up. The campus is situated just outside the Downtown Mesa area, which boasts dozens of arts and culture, entertainment, and shopping opportunities.

Occupancy for the new Mesa campus is planned for November and recruitment will soon begin for the January start. To learn more about enrolling in an allied health training program in Mesa, contact Arizona College.
