Massage Therapy Now Offered at Mesa Campus

Allied Health Program

Arizona College is excited to announce that Massage Therapy training is now being offered at our Mesa campus!

Massage Therapy uses the power of touch to manipulate soft-tissue muscles in the body to provide a range of treatments and relief from pain. The Massage Therapy program at Arizona College teaches students about the medical benefits of Massage Therapy, and trains them to treat painful injuries, decompress overworked muscles, and promote overall wellness through the use of therapeutic massage techniques. The program also covers basic marketing and business skills in order to help Massage Therapists promote their services.

There are many benefits of working in the field of Massage Therapy. By nature of the job, Massage Therapists enjoy working in a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. Massage Therapists are able to choose from a wide range of environments in which to work, including spas, health clubs, hospitals, clinics, and more. They can also choose to go into business for themselves or start their own practice. And every day, therapists get to experience the satisfaction of knowing that they helped their clients decrease their stress and improve their overall well-being.

The program at Arizona College incorporates training equipment that includes hot stones, massage tables, massage chairs, anatomy charts, and more. The classes at Arizona College also include guidance by therapists with years of massage experience, who teach the latest techniques and trends in the world of Massage Therapy.
