Sherri Springer came to Arizona College of Nursing in 2018 and opened the Dallas campus. She has been in higher education for two decades and brings experience and expertise in the areas of admissions, student services, operations, and financial aid. She has proudly and successfully served in many roles throughout her career including Director of Admissions (in single campus, regional and national roles), Campus Director, and Director of Campus Operations for both large and small colleges and universities.
As Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Springer oversees admissions, student services, and financial aid and is accountable for achieving institutional goals including student retention; educational quality objectives; and accreditation standards.

Prior to joining Arizona College in January of 2022, Dr. Kern has over 20 years of experience as Dean, Vice President or Chief Academic Officer over Nursing and Allied Health Programs. In those years he served as Dean of Academic Affairs at Nova Southeastern University in North Miami Beach, The National Graduate Dean at both Kaplan University Online in Chicago and Herzing University in Milwaukee as well as Chief Academic Officer at Concorde Career Colleges in Mission, Kansas.
Dr. Kern has spent his professional life in the academic classroom teaching Medical Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry and Computer Science. He has been honored with various Outstanding Educator and Master Teacher awards as well as Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and other national and international awards and Honors.

Dr. Shultz-Ruth recently served as a Director of Nursing, Regulatory Affairs here at Arizona College of Nursing. She is a former Executive Dean of Allied Health and Nursing at Dallas, College. Dr. Shultz-Ruth has over 25 years of working in the medical field and has dedicated the last 13 years working in higher education in leadership, nursing education, and mentorship to many nursing students. She believes in student success and enjoys seeing students start their careers as nurses. Dr. Shultz-Ruth has done presentations in “childhood obesity”, “hypoglycemia in the newborn”, and “the use of glucose gel versus formula supplementation”. She is a member of the Texas Nurse’s Association, American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and National Board Coalition. Dr. Shultz-Ruth has also received numerous awards such as, The Presidential Award, Administrator of the year award, Jean Sharon Griffith Award, Distinguished Alumnus Award, and Clinical Nurse Excellence Award. In addition, she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She is a proud pastor’s wife and the mother of the most beautiful little girl. She spends her time after work, with family, raising her daughter, working in the church, and empowering women in the women’s ministry.
