Learn in Evening & Blended Classes

Need an RN school with an RN program that fits your busy life?

At Arizona College, the first 4 semesters of your BSN program will be general education classes. These classes meet on-campus only 2 nights a week (lecture and lab), letting you finish the remainder of your coursework online from the convenience of your home.

To help you earn your nursing degree faster, each general education course is accelerated and takes just 8 weeks to complete. Once your accredited BSN curriculum has progressed to the nursing courses, you’ll return to a standard 16-week class. This gives you more time on campus to develop the most important skills for starting your career as a registered nurse.

Students in SimLab

Practice in High-Tech Sim Labs

Access simulated healthcare technology of the highest grade.

In the Fort Lauderdale nursing program SimLabs, you will:

  • Care for life-like mannequins with vital signs, movements, and verbal responses controlled remotely by faculty
  • Practice new skills in a setting where it’s safe to learn from your mistakes
  • Progress from the basics to advanced nursing scenarios, with guidance from experienced nursing program faculty
  • Capture video of your activities, so that you can later study everything from your bedside manner to the results of your patient care.

The SimLabs in our nursing college are complete with industry-standard equipment and supplies. The labs replicate the patient interactions you’ll have working as an RN in hospital settings, nursing homes, clinics, acute care, schools, and community centers – and even a patient’s bedroom in our SimLab Apartment.
