Earn your BSN without disrupting your day

In your first 4 semesters of your BSN, you’ll cover your general education coursework. These classes only meet on campus two nights a week (lab and lecture), giving you the freedom to finish all the rest of your work online and in your own time. To help you earn your degree faster, we’ve accelerated your general education classes to be only 8 weeks each. Once you progress to the nursing courses, you’ll return to the standard 16-week class, giving you more time on campus to develop the most important skills for your career.

Practice in High-Tech SimLabs

Learning comes to life in our high-tech SimLabs at Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson, where you can learn in life-like situations with realistic simulations.

  • Care for mannequins with vital signs, movements, and verbal responses controlled remotely by faculty for a better learning experience
  • Simulated settings let you practice new skills where it’s safe to make mistakes
  • Progress from the beginner to more advanced nursing scenarios, with guidance from experienced nursing faculty
  • Watch video of your activities to study everything from your bedside manner to the results of your patient care.

Our Tucson SimLabs are designed with industry-standard equipment and supplies. The labs replicate patient interactions you will have in hospital settings, nursing homes, clinics, community centers, and even a patient’s bedroom in our SimLab Apartment.

Accelerated BSN Coursework & Enrollment Requirements

Our 3-year accelerated nursing program leverages an evidence-based curriculum with hands-on, clinical hours to ensure you graduate ready for a career in nursing. At Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson, you’ll also learn through the following methods:

Enrollment Requirements for Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson

  • 2.75* or higher CGPA from high school or college
  • A2 Admission Assessment of 60

*A cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher with at least 12 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited school will be accepted in lieu of the high school GPA requirement. College credit is defined as credit for courses that lead to a degree or program of study that leads to a degree.
