Dean of Nursing
Dr. Tranchot came to Arizona College of Nursing-Sarasota in 2021 after overseeing an Associate Degree of Nursing program in Virginia. Her bedside nursing career focused on caring for the adult population in the intensive, peri-anesthesia, and coronary care specialty areas. She began her transition to the nurse educator role in 2005 and has since refocused her professional development efforts on adult learning and teaching methodologies.
Dr. Tranchot is innovative and truly cherishes the multifaceted aspects of not only nursing education but also nursing as whole, and how transformative a nursing career can be. As Dean of Nursing, she will oversee the daily operations of the nursing program and provides mentoring and coaching to faculty and students.
