Alexis previously served as the Chief of Staff at Arizona College of Nursing in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2022, Alexis transitioned into the Executive Director of Academic Operations role for the new Sarasota, FL Campus, where she is happy to be back on the Suncoast near her hometown of Venice, Florida. Prior to her experience in higher education, Alexis was a Management Consultant at Accenture specializing in Financial Services, Non-profit Institutions, and Public Transportation. In addition to serving clients, Alexis developed a formal hiring pathway that enabled nonprofit sourced interns to train and transition into full-time careers in Technology and Cyber Security across 21 United States markets.

Nick Ferlisi came to Arizona College of Nursing – Sarasota in 2021 with 15 years of campus leadership experience. Most recently Nick was the Senior Director of Admissions for Concorde Career Institute in Tampa. His experience also includes Le Cordon Bleu, Sanford Brown, and Lincoln Technical Institute. Prior to education Nick spent several years in sales including retail, corporate, business-to-business, and sports marketing.

Dr. Tranchot came to Arizona College of Nursing-Sarasota in 2021 after overseeing an Associate Degree of Nursing program in Virginia. Her bedside nursing career focused on caring for the adult population in the intensive, peri-anesthesia, and coronary care specialty areas. She began her transition to the nurse educator role in 2005 and has since refocused her professional development efforts on adult learning and teaching methodologies.
Dr. Tranchot is innovative and truly cherishes the multifaceted aspects of not only nursing education but also nursing as whole, and how transformative a nursing career can be. As Dean of Nursing, she will oversee the daily operations of the nursing program and provides mentoring and coaching to faculty and students.

A highly motivated & student-oriented education professional with over 15 years of experience. Marzena has a passion for advising students from various backgrounds. She is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Successful in building and motivating dynamic teams that cultivate a comfortable team culture.
Prior to joining Arizona College in 2021, Marzena held leadership positions in Academic Affairs at LaGuardia CC. She served as the Associate Director for Staff Development where she directed professional development programs for students and staff to promote learning and growth.
