Executive Director of Academic Operations
Sharen Lacayo came to Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson in 2019 after working in higher education. She has held several positions in education including Dean of Nursing. She brings over a decade of nursing experience in wide variety of settings. Her specialties include community, and behavioral health.
Lacayo has always been drawn to education, and loves helping students achieve their goals and dreams.
Dean of General Education
Colt Savage came to Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson in 2019 with fifteen years of teaching experience at the collegiate level specializing in Anatomy and Physiology, Neuroanatomy, and Biology.
As Dean of General Education, he helps facilitate student and faculty success. He is passionate about education and is grateful to be a part of their academic journey here at Arizona College.
Dean of Nursing
Olivia has been a registered nurse since 2012 working in home health, emergency medicine, medical surgical, and labor and delivery. Prior to joining Arizona College in 2019, Olivia was adjunct faculty at Eastern Arizona College, and full-time faculty at Pima Medical Institute, Pima Community College, Brigham Young University Idaho, and Arizona College of Nursing Tucson.
She was the Associate Dean of Arizona College of Nursing before moving into the Dean of Nursing role. She has held positions with the Arizona Nurses Association Nurse Educator Group as the Director of Education and served a term on the Arizona State Board of Nursing Education Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining Arizona College in 2019, Bernadette spent over 13 years in the non-profit sector, providing result driven improvements through well-managed projects. Her ability for developing mechanisms for achieving, monitoring, and sustaining positive outcomes led her to leadership opportunities within several organizations throughout the years. Bernadette is equipped with exceptional planning, prioritizing and goal setting skills. Her ability to execute data queries to assist with logistical guidance of student movement through General education, makes her a great fit for the Tucson Campus.
