Gean Swiatko-Klee DNP, ACRN, MSN-L, RDH, I-MHE® was appointed Dean of the Nursing Program at Arizona College of Nursing Milwaukee, Wisconsin in July 2024.
Dr. Swiatko-Klee came to Arizona College of Nursing – Milwaukee after five years at private university education in the Southeast Wisconsin area. There, she served in various academic positions, including Assistant Professor, Clinical Adjunct Professor and Chair of the School of Nursing. She also worked with specialties of community health and infectious disease nursing in her nursing career. She is active in the professional legislative organizations supporting both student advances and legislative concerns.
Her research areas include nursing student educational success through application of varied study skills application, improving faculty engagement for better classroom outcomes, and the application of varied learning environments to enhance critical thinking and clinical judgement. Gean truly finds joy in mentoring nurses into faculty and leadership roles to support the future of the nursing profession.

The Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) program at Arizona College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.aacnnursing.org). Official accreditation notification to CCNE for Milwaukee is submitted prior to first Semester 5 class start. All Arizona College campuses are institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency.
