Arizona College’s Medical Billing and Coding program gives you the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to pursue medical billing and coding certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA).

Classes Start Every 5 Weeks

Arizona College offers a 30-week Medical Billing & Coding program at our Glendale and Mesa campuses. Sessions start every 5 weeks. Medical billers and coders (also referred to as health information specialists, medical billing and coding specialists, or medical information specialists) primarily work behind-the-scenes for health care providers.

In addition to medical billing and coding responsibilities, they perform administrative tasks on their employer’s behalf, including maintaining patient records.
