Executive Director of Enrollment Services
Matthew Gibbs came to Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson in 2019. Matthew has served in various leadership roles in education for over a decade, that include; admissions, career services, marketing, and campus operations. Matthew was drawn to education so he could work in a field that makes a positive impact on the community, while helping people to achieve their educational goals.
As Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Matthew oversees the daily operations of the campus and student admissions.
Dean of General Education
Colt Savage came to Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson in 2019 with fifteen years of teaching experience at the collegiate level specializing in Anatomy and Physiology, Neuroanatomy, and Biology.
As Dean of General Education, he helps facilitate student and faculty success. He is passionate about education and is grateful to be a part of their academic journey here at Arizona College.
Dean of Nursing
Dr. Gaw came to Arizona College of Nursing-Tucson in 2020 after many years as the Dean of Health Professions in the public sector of higher education. He is trained as an Emergency Center Registered Nurse with subspecialties in adult intensive care and emergent behavioral health. He has served as faculty both pre-licensure and graduate programs for multiple universities. His research focuses are in self-concept, organizational development/commitment, and social capital.
As the Dean of Nursing for the Tucson Campus, Dr. Gaw oversees nursing-related operations, compliance, partnership development, clinical applications, and faculty development in the core nursing program. Dr. Gaw entered education to specifically serve the community, address workforce needs in healthcare, and help students change their lives for themselves and their families through the power of education.
Executive Director of Academic Operations
Sharen Lacayo came to Arizona College of Nursing – Tucson in 2019 after working in higher education. She has held several positions in education including Dean of Nursing. She brings over a decade of nursing experience in wide variety of settings. Her specialties include community, and behavioral health.
Lacayo has always been drawn to education, and loves helping students achieve their goals and dreams.
