Class Sessions Begin 6 Times Per Year
In our nursing program, new general education sessions begin about every eight weeks, and new nursing major cohorts start three times per year. With multiple session starts throughout the year, you’re not restricted to starting school in just Fall or Spring. You have the chance to start the BSN program when the timing is right for you.

Previously, Teri worked as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, at Snow College and as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations at the University of Utah.

With more than 15 years of experience in higher education and a decade dedicated to nursing education, Dr. Watkins has a strong foundation in academic leadership and student success initiatives. She has held key leadership roles including Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Teaching and Learning, and Dean of General Education—each position strengthening her commitment to supporting both students and faculty in meaningful ways.
In her current role as Dean of General Education, Dr. Watkins focuses on empowering the entire campus community by fostering collaborative, student-centered strategies that help both learners and educators thrive.

We understand that students who pursue a BSN degree sometimes have an associate degree or prior experience in nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or ADN-prepared Registered Nurse (RN) or prior education in non-nursing-related health sciences fields. If you do have prior general educational credits, you may be able to transfer those credits. Transferring credits can get you on track to complete your program in less time and at a lower cost.
