Financial Aid at Arizona College
Many Financial Aid programs are available to assist you with the cost of tuition and living expenses while in attendance at Arizona College.
Your Financial Aid Officer will discuss financing options for your selected program. As an accredited institution, and an institution under agreement with the U.S. Department of Education, the College is eligible to participate in a variety of student financial aid programs.
Types of Financial Aid
Students of all ages and backgrounds may be eligible for a variety of financial aid programs and payment options including:
- Federal student loans (payments can begin after you’re done with school)
- Federal PELL and SEOG grants (do not have to be repaid)
- State-based grant programs (do not have to be repaid)
- Work-study (on-campus employment)
- Private educational loans
- Military veteran educational benefits (ex: Post-9/11 G.I. Bill)
You may be relieved to know that with certain financial aid programs, you’ll be able to start your new career before repayment begins.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
The first step in determining your eligibility for specific financial aid programs is to complete the FASFA, or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. If you need help along the way, your financial aid representative will be available to answer questions or provide guidance.
Use school code: 031150-00
Next Steps: The Financial Aid Award
After you’ve submitted the FASFA and other necessary forms, you’ll soon receive an award letter, which contains the financial aid options, including grant and loan amounts, available to you. After discussing these possibilities with your family and financial aid representative, you can decide what to accept.
