Evening & Blended Classes

You’re already busy, so why disrupt your daily schedule? Most of our general education classes—the first 4 semesters of your BSN program—meet on campus only 1 night a week and let you finish the rest of your coursework online, right from the comfort of your own home.

To help you earn your degree faster, you’ll complete each general education course in just 8 weeks. After reaching your nursing courses, you’ll return to a standard 16-week class, spending more time on campus developing the skills that will matter most for your nursing career.

High-Tech Sim Labs

Our SimLabs are where classroom learning comes to life. Inside a simulated healthcare setting, our students apply their new skills to care for life-like mannequins with vital signs, movements, and verbal responses controlled remotely by faculty.

These high-tech SimLabs let students practice in a safe setting, learning from their mistakes as they move from the fundamentals to advanced nursing scenarios. Inside the lab, SimView video captures every activity, so that students can later study everything from their bedside manner to the results of their patient care, with input from experienced nursing faculty.

Complete with industry-standard equipment and supplies, our SimLabs can replicate hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, acute care, schools, community centers, and even a patient’s bedroom in the case of our unique SimLab Apartment.
