Take Evening & Blended Classes

You’re already busy, so why disrupt your daily schedule?

Most of our general education classes—the first 4 semesters of your BSN program—meet on campus only 1 night a week and let you finish the remainder of your coursework online, right from the comfort of your own home.

To help you earn your degree faster, you’ll complete each general education course in just 8 weeks. After progressing to nursing courses, you’ll return to a standard 16-week class, spending more time on campus developing the skills that will matter most for your nursing career.

Learn in High-Tech SimLabs

In the Tempe SimLabs, classroom learning comes to life. Inside a simulated healthcare setting, you can:

  • Care for life-like mannequins with vital signs, movement, and verbal responses controlled remotely by faculty
  • Practice your new skills in a setting where it’s safe to learn from your mistakes
  • Progress from the basics to advanced nursing scenarios, with guidance from experienced nursing faculty
  • Capture video of your activities, so that you can later study everything from your bedside manner to the results of your patient care.

Complete with industry-standard equipment and supplies, the SimLabs in Tempe can replicate hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, acute care, schools, community centers, and even a patient’s bedroom in our SimLab Apartment.

Amber Webb
For 11 years, I have wanted to return to school and complete my degree in nursing, but life always seemed to get in the way. Finally, last year I picked up the phone and made the call that has changed my life in the best way possible. From my first contact with Arizona College, I have felt like I have made the right choice. I highly recommend making the call that will change your life just like I did.

Briana Eggert
I was an army veteran working full-time in a call center doing the same job I did for several years prior to the army. Arizona College helped me by providing me the opportunity to earn my bachelor’s in nursing without a waiting list. I have enjoyed the small classrooms and individual attention professors are always willing to give.

Every class you take, every instructor you meet, Arizona College does an amazing job of preparing you to have great success in both the classroom and in life after school. They do this by not just teaching a textbook or powerpoint but also incorporating real life scenarios. The instructors share real past experiences and how they handled them.
