In our Florida nursing program, new general education sessions begin about every eight weeks, and new nursing major cohorts start three times per year. James Jones began working in post-secondary education as an instructor in 2006. Since then, he has been a program director, director of education and a campus executive director. He has over 14 years of experience working in higher education in Arizona and Florida. He has been with Arizona College since March of 2019 and is currently the Senior Campus President at their Fort Lauderdale campus. His favorite thing about working in colleges is having the opportunity to help people be positively impacted by improving their lives through education.Â
In James’ free time, he enjoys going to the beach with his wife and children and watching the University of Alabama play football.Â

As Academic Records Manager, Tamiya monitors and assists students’ progress in their BSN journey. During her free time, she enjoys studying Psychology and promoting Self-Advocacy and positivity.

Dr. Jenny Lucy is proud to have been a nurse for 29 years and a nursing professor for the past 15 years. She has dedicated her career to the field of nursing education and is currently the Dean of Nursing at the Fort Lauderdale Campus of Arizona College of Nursing.
Throughout her career, Dr. Lucy has held various positions in different nursing specialties, including Med Surg, Telemetry critical care, behavioral health and psychiatric care, and Leadership. Prior to joining the Arizona College of Nursing , she served as an Area Nurse Manager with the Federal Government, overseeing 17 clinics in 7 states. Dr. Lucy’s diverse experience has provided her with a well-rounded perspective on the nursing profession.
Dr. Lucy is a passionate advocate for fair educational opportunities and believes in providing respect and support to all students. She is committed to promoting student participation in the local community and encourages service and volunteerism among her students. Dr. Lucy looks forward to the contributions she will continue to make in shaping the future of nursing professionals.

Dwight Young-Sang brought nearly two decades of experience in both career and traditional school management to Arizona College of Nursing. His journey in education began in 2005, when he made a bold move into the industry. Starting as an Admission Representative at a local college, Dwight quickly advanced to Senior Director of Admissions. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a long and dedicated career in education.

The distance from Arizona College of Nursing – Fort Lauderdale to the Hollywood area in Florida is about 16 miles or 25 minutes of driving time.
- Starting near the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk in the Hollywood, Florida area, get on Hollywood Boulevard heading west for about 6 minutes, driving around Young Circle Park via the North Young Circle before continuing west on Hollywood Boulevard to get on I-95 heading north towards West Palm Beach. Note: This route includes tolls.
- Take I-95 North for about 14 miles, passing Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on your left before taking Exit 33A to Cypress Creek Road East.
- After merging right onto Cypress Creek Road East, take a left at the second light onto Corporate Drive heading north.
