Students with Teacher

Take Evening & Blended Classes

Discover a nursing degree program that fits your schedule.

During the first 4 semesters of your BSN program, you’ll take general education classes. Most of these meet on campus only 1 night a week, while you finish the remainder of your coursework online, from the comfort and convenience of your home.

To help you earn your degree faster, each general education course takes just 8 weeks to finish. After progressing to the nursing courses portion of the BSN curriculum, you’ll return to a standard 16-week class, spending more time on campus developing the skills that will matter most for your nursing career.

Students in Sim Lab

Learn in High-Tech Sim Labs

In the Dallas SimLabs, classroom learning comes alive for Arizona College’s nursing program students. Inside a simulated healthcare setting, you can:

  • Care for life-like mannequins with vital signs, movements, and verbal responses controlled remotely by faculty
  • Practice your new skills in a setting where it’s safe to learn from your mistakes
  • Progress from the basics to advanced nursing scenarios, with guidance from experienced nursing faculty
  • Capture video of your activities, so that you can later study everything from your bedside manner to the results of your patient care.

The SimLabs in Dallas are complete with industry-standard equipment and supplies. They can replicate hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, acute care, schools, community centers, and even a patient’s bedroom in our SimLab Apartment.

For 11 years, I wanted to return to school and complete my nursing degree, but life always seemed to get in the way. Finally, last year I picked up the phone and made the call that changed my life in the best way possible. From my first contact with Arizona College, I have felt like I made the right choice. I highly recommend making the call that will change your life just like I did.

I was an army veteran working full-time in a call center doing the same job I did for several years prior to the army. Arizona College helped me by providing me the opportunity to earn my bachelor’s in nursing without a waiting list. I enjoy the individual attention professors are always willing to give.
